Teen SRC 2017 – Sanctum by Madeleine Roux

Hi today I will be reviewing Sanctum by Madeleine Roux.

If you don’t like creepy things I would not advise you to read this book.

In this book there are lots of twists I wouldn’t expect and its very adventurous.

In it Dan and his friends are going back to New Hampshire college because someone won’t let Dan and his friends move on from that odd summer and because of this they will find lots of things that are real dark.

I would rate this book 4 out of 5.

This is the second book of the Asylum series go read the first book Asylum first.

Teen SRC 2017 – Sew Zoey: Sewing In Circles by Chloe Taylor

Image result for sew zoey sewing in circlesThis series, Sew Zoey, has been in the library for many years, so I decided to read one.

This book is about a girl named Zoey who is an expert in sewing. She decides to enter an outdoor market to sell her products! But things get a bit complicated when her crush asks her to sell his paintings at her booth. Her friends encourage her to say yes and sell his products, but she’s not so sure.

Then, her fashion idol, Daphne Shaw, offers to feature one Sew Zoey piece in her pop-up shop. It sounds great until Daphne rejects her sample. Just one more problem on the road…

I loved this book, but I also feel that it’s kind of simple for my taste. I give it a 3 out of 5!

Teen SRC 2017 – Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling

Harry has been stuck with the Dursley’s every since his parents died rather mysteriously. Suddenly, Harry has been receiving letters, but the Dursley’s keep intercepting them. Harry finds out he is a wizard and he will be attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Suddenly, Harry’s world turns upside down and he finds himself making two best friends. I would rate this book a 3.98 as it was exciting, but dull in the beginning. The plot however was excellent.
