Thiry Sunsets by Christine Hurley Deriso
I would give this book a 2 out of 5 stars. Not that I completely hated it- It’s just that I would say it’s too short for all the drama that goes on. Another this is that by Chapter 2 I had already figured out the “big plot twist.” This book is about a girl named Forrest. When her family announces that they will be going to the beach house with her brother’s annoying and stuck-up girlfriend, Olivia, Forrest isn’t what one would call ‘happy’. She has heard about Olivia’s eating disorder, and to her surprise-and horror, the truth behind the disorder is not what she expected at all.
This book was surprising- in a not-great way, but also kind of humorous. I would read it if I didn’t mind a much too quick read!
